Audit
The Audit Committee is responsible
for the inspection and review of the Chapter financial records to
ensure accuracy of record reporting and information retention of all
Chapter assets, revenues and expenditures. In addition, the
committee may make recommendations to the membership providing guidelines
for future committee operation to be added to the Chapter's Standing
Rules.
Any member, held in good standing,
may be elected to the Audit Committee by the membership to
represent the Chapter on this committee. The size of the committee
is at the discretion of the President, however the practice has been
to appoint a minimum of two (2) members.
Each year, once the committee seats
have been filled, the committee members shall appoint
a Chairperson to represent their committee and provide a verbal
report to the membership at a general membership meeting.
