| Committees
are an invaluable addition to any volunteer organization
and provide a 'first step' opportunity for new members
to participate in the internal operations of the
Chapter.
The Thousand Island
Voyageurs (TIV) recognize these volunteers are what
makes the organization vibrant. The demands on a
committee member are small, but the results from their
efforts are tremendous representing the life blood of
the organization.
Each year, new members are
either appointed by the President or elected by the membership
to sit on the various standing committees. In the end, it is the good
fun and fellowship within these committees that adds excitement
to the organization through their active participation.
